Ryan Garcia will return to the ring on December 2, where he will face Oscar Duarte at 140 pounds. Gold Boy Promotions serves as the promoter and will take place at the Houston Toyota Center. Garcia aims to come back from his first career defeat to Gervonta Davis in April this year. In a recent development, boxing icon Bernard Hopkins, a member of Oscar De La Hoya‘s promotional agency, made negative comments about Garcia.
At the press conference, Hopkins also came under fire after Ryan Garcia spoke about some things bothering him. Hopkins stated that he would promote a champion but would not promote a lie. This is what Garcia replied:
